Our Open Practice is a mellow and intimate evening of practice and connection. All are welcome!

You can dive right into our own practice and exploration or join us for a foundations discussion and basic rope demo hosted by The Collectives experienced practitioners. Attendees are welcome to continue with our team diving into questions and helping you problem solve your own ties, or to spread out to our additional practice areas to explore and discover. Come by yourself, with a partner, multiple partners, or friends! all are welcome.

This is an all skill level event- and if you're new to rope, this is a great way to get your feet wet!

Tati is a Ukrainian-born Shibari artist and instructor with over 12 years of dedicated practice. Her training includes lineage-based Japanese Shibari with masters such as Naka Akira, Ren Yagami, Kinoko Hajime, Nicolas Yoroi, and the Yukimura style.

Her rope is shaped by a rare blend of disciplines - Aikido, contact improvisation, Tantra, Qi Gong, Thai massage, and femdom. She’s not just a rope artist - she’s a world-traveler, a festival curator, a Shibari theatre performer, and a devoted student of psychology.

Tati’s style is intuitive, improvisational, and deeply embodied. Her teaching helps students move beyond imitation into the creative, authentic soul of rope.
