A Work Party, skill + art share, eco gathering, and ceremony of the Earth!
A reoccurring event to cultivate the land for community events, gardening, and Sauctuary.
This month we focus on a mother pine tree who fell over in a storm: teaching safety and techniques with tree aboring, repurposing wood, and brewing medicinal and antiseptic recipes with the pine needles . After our day of labor and love for the land, we will celebrate with nourishing food, drink, and skill and art share with music and performance art.
• Regenerative gardening - get your hands in the soil
• Arboriculture - learn the art of the chainsaw
• Essential oil, balm, soap making - medicinal and antiseptic
• Upcycle and repurposing - using all parts of the plant.
• Earth ceremony and ritual as we lay the tree to rest and come together for a controlled burn
• Live music and DJs - it is open mic / sets as well so come prepared to share your craft if you like
• Performance art - dance, Shibari, fire, flow
• Potluck - we encourage bringing an item to share
